It's a tailored battery of tests and clinical procedures that evaluates intellectual abilities, learning processes, attention and memory, academic skills, and social-emotional/behavioral functioning. Your child's battery is selected based on the referral questions, and may include structured interviews, standardized cognitive and academic measures, attention/executive-function tasks, rating scales from parents/teachers, and observation.

Age-appropriate measures (e.g., WPPSI, WISC, WAIS, Stanford-Binet, WJ-Cognitive, TONI) with clear eligibility letters aligned to Florida gifted rules.

Comprehensive batteries for ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and executive-function concerns, integrating cognitive + academic profiles.

Clinical interviews; record review (medical/educational/occupational/legal); cognitive, personality, and risk measures; attorney consultation; and formal reports.

Clinical evaluation to determine whether an ESA is indicated for a documented mental-health disability. Includes careful differentiation from service animals and clear documentation when criteria are met.

Family-centered feedback sessions that translate findings into IEP/504 accommodations, home strategies, and coordinated care with schools.
Evaluates cognitive and personality factors and includes a comprehensive interview, records review, and measures of mood, behavior, and social-emotional functioning. You receive a clear report with diagnoses (as appropriate), accommodations, and treatment recommendations. Feedback can be in-office, by phone, or via telehealth.
Includes everything in the psychological assessment plus a full psychoeducational battery (cognitive + academic + processing). Results integrate learning profile and emotional/behavioral data into actionable school and home plans.

Measures are selected by age and district criteria (e.g., WPPSI-IV, WISC-V, WAIS-IV, Stanford-Binet, WJ-IV Cognitive, TONI). Eligibility letters summarize measures and scores (including percentiles) to support school placement.

An Emotional Support Animal is prescribed by a licensed mental-health professional for a person with a qualifying mental-health disability when the animal's presence meaningfully alleviates symptoms. ESAs provide therapeutic companionship but are not the same as service animals.
During ESA evaluations, we follow clinical, ethical, and legal best-practice guidance and provide documentation only when criteria are met.
